{Decor} Paper Flowers

Just couldn't pass up sharing these amazing flowers with you. Similar to the pom-poms, however these look more like real flowers! So now I will be offering pom-poms, paper flowers or lanterns with all party packages! The best part is that they will coordinate perfectly with your tableware! Would love to hear what combination you love - invent your own! Personally, the Magnolia looking ones are my favorite or the ones with the zebra like print in the middle!

{themes} Vintage Barbie

Just had to post this Vintage Barbie themed party idea from Sweeties by Kim - she created these awesome chocolate covered oreos! What a fabulous idea! Now I'm brainstorming for someone's first birthday... (wink, wink).

{Colors} Amazing combinations!

So it's no big secret, that my children's rooms are very unique... my son's room is colored in teal, grey and orange with a "city" theme and my daughters is fuschia and sunshine yellow (super bright) with a "bird and flower" theme. For both of their rooms, the inspiration came from the fabric that I chose for the baby bumpers. My daughter's fabric selections came from Rocky Top Designs where you can not only get fabulous stuff for your room decor, but also great color combinations to use for a party! Here are some of my favorites:

{questions} What is a Tablescape?

You may think it's a silly question, well my brother didn't and asked me that the other day. A Tablescape could be as simple as the layout of your place mats or napkins on a table surrounding a centerpiece. However, when I refer to a Tablescape, I'm describing the centerpiece of the room, the place where your eye travels first. They can be displays of candy or desserts, which perhaps is the most commonly used idea. But, they could also be your entrees - for example I recently had a brunch, and the Tablescape held tiered croissants, muffins, waffle toppings, etc. I've also seen them used in weddings to offer a variety of favors (fabulous idea!). They can be as lavish or as simple as your heart desires! The best part is that they can be at any location - outside, in your home, in a restaurant, at a wedding... there are no limits! Here are some of my favorite Tablescapes!

Since all of my invitation work is done custom for you, I will never include invitation ideas on a general inspiration board, but will for a Becoming or Effervescent Package.
